Goals

Become an Author and Motivational Speaker

After my college graduation speech, I got a lot of feedback about how motivational and inspirational my speech was. I have always been one who wanted to help others, so I went on a walk and had a deep think. I decided to change my path, even though that meant an additional couple more years of school. My journey to that graduation was a long and difficult one. I thought my struggles may have the ability to help and inspire others. I wrote my first book, which is my memoir titled Bumpy Roads: My 35-Year Journey from High School to College Graduation, and have more books planned.

Mom

My two AWESOME boys...

I have the privilege of being the mom of two wonderful young men. My oldest has Asperger's Syndrome. We found this out when I was pregnant with my second son, which ended up being a high-risk pregnancy. Both have grown up to be wonderful young men. The oldest is starting his career as a voice actor with rolls already on Cartoon Network and the younger just graduated college last year and is now a computer science teacher for an area high school.

Below you will find a clip from the 2018 Steven Universe panel at San Diego Comic Con where I got to tell creator Rebecca Sugar what an impact she has had on my and my son's lives.

Past, Present, and Future Projects

My first book, my memoir, Bumpy Roads, is currently available wherever you like to purchase your books or ebooks online. I am currently working on Put Your Mask On First, a book about taking care of yourself so you have the ability to take care of others. It should be released Spring 2024. I am also working on a fun ebook of things to do while waiting in line. I will probably offer that either for signing up for my newsletter or for Beta readers. I haven't decided yet. Beyond that, I plan on writing my first fiction book under my pen name, Ranee Michelle in 2024. For those that enjoy poetry, I have some of my past writings up on Writers Cafe, at least for now.

Spotify

My music taste is best described as eclectic!

I love to find new talent, listen to Showtunes, dance to Top 40, and relax to Jazz. Plus I love to laugh at fun and silly songs when I need to boost my mood!  I hope you enjoy my Spotify playlist - you never know what song will pop up next!
